Just as we nurture our students to volunteer in their neighborhoods, we welcome community members who seek the opportunity to connect with our students on a personal level. As a BALF volunteer, you can:

• Mentor a student
• Organize career-related field trips
• Chaperone college exploration trips
• Provide inspirational and educational lectures

Our Saturday Sessions are a careful balance of academic enrichment and social exposure as staff coupled with community and business leaders come together to support our students. Through our approach and your support, students develop the skills necessary to enable them to excel in their immediate and future endeavors.
