Public officials, public safety personnel and business figures from around the East Bay will be taking bat and glove in hand at Ocean View Park in Albany on Saturday for a friendly game of softball with a noble purpose.
What is BALF?
The Bay Area Leadership Foundation provides a path to college and career success for local underserved teens who may otherwise fall through the cracks.
What are the barriers to college?
According to the Center for American Progress, "The primary issue in college access is no longer building college aspirations, but building a clear path for students to achieve their goals."
